"Arlice's Odyssey" is the the latest solo exhibition from Canadian-born artist / animator Lynne Naylor. The opening reception will be held Saturday, September13th from 7-10pm at M Modern Gallery in Palm Springs, CA.

Lynne is a celebrated icon of the Animation world where the appeal of her work on "The Ren & Stimpy Show", "Samurai Jack" and "The Powerpuff Girls" as well as conceptual designs for Dreamworks and Sony Pictures has gifted her with a seamless transition into the fine art world where her alluring and surreal paintings have attracted an international collector base.

"Arlice's Odyssey™" follows the travels of enchanted orphan Arlice™ and her journey through a surreal world filled with mystical creatures and perilous adventures. The paintings in this special exhibit will serve as the the first installment of a three-part illustrated storybook of the same title, to be published in 2009.

Arlice™ also makes her debut on opening night as a limited edition plush doll prototype, complete with her own magical diarama setting.


Live DJ Switched-On Audrey from Luxuria Music.com will provide the fantastical soundtrack, and there will be a special 3-song live set featuring the psy-fi sounds of Sir Cosmo Cosmopollus. Open bar and refreshments are sponsored by Smirnoff™.
